WHAT KIND OF EVENTS CAN THE BANQUET HALL BE RENTED FOR?

WHAT IS THE CAPACITY OF THE BANQUET HALL, AND IS THE VENUE LARGE ENOUGH FOR CORPORATE CONVENTIONS?
Our main banquet hall can accommodate up to 700 attendees in a theater or auditorium style setting and approximately 500 in a banquet style setting. The reception area can further accommodate up to 150+ attendees in a standing room setting. Therefore, it is a large enough venue for corporate conventions and much more. Total space of main banquet hall and reception area is approximately 8500 square ft. Floor plan soon to be available.
ARE THERE DISCOUNTS FOR BOOKING IN THE OFF-SEASON, SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY OR LAST MINUTE DATES?
We already provide the lowest all-in cost of comparable banquet halls in the Ottawa region. We are also a Single Event Per Day banquet hall in Ottawa but we can be flexible with bookings Sunday through Friday or off-season. Contact us for more information.
IS THE PARKING FREE?
Yes, there is plenty of free parking available. The parking lot can hold 200 to 250+ vehicles or more if our adjacent land is needed (including handicap spaces). Additional free street parking is available.
DO YOU PROVIDE BAR SERVICES?
Yes. The bar must be professionally staffed with Smart Servers provided at competitive rates or the Client can stock the bar and provide own bartender (Smart Server Certified). Client is required to obtain a Special Occasion Permit (SOP) from LCBO. (Normally takes 10 business days to obtain.) To obtain a Special Occasion Permit online: www.agco.ca. Special Occasion Permits are obtained online and paid by credit card. Once application is made and fee is paid on line an SOP is immediately emailed to the requestor. When printed, it is required to purchase alcohol at the LCBO and Beer Stores. No out of province alcohol purchases are allowed. The SOP must be displayed in the bar at the time of alcohol service.
DO YOU REQUIRE EVENT INSURANCE?
Yes. You can now purchase insurance coverage online through Pearson Dunn Insurance. The online application is quick and easy. In most cases you will immediately receive confirmation of insurance coverage upon purchase.

WHAT IS YOUR PAYMENT - REFUND POLICY?
A deposit of 50% of the agreed total rental cost, excluding catering, is due upon signing of contract. The balance is due 30 days from date of event. No exceptions. No refunds for cancellations within 6 months of event date.
